ROBOT Information:

Our Robot is currently utilizing all 12 Motors.

The Robot has a 6 high Strength motors geared externally to a 1:3 gear ration. The drive itself is very fast and has a lot of torque. (Top speed of 300 RPM)

Our Robot uses "Flywheels" to shoot balls in the high goal. This design is equiped with a ratchet mechanism. This mechanism allows the flywheels to slow down without engaging the motors. This protects the motors from over-heating and helps regulate the electrical current. The flywheels are powered by 4 Turbo motos geared externally to a 1:7 gear ratio. These Flywheels can shoot not only full field and close range but every where inbetween. (Top speed of 1680 RPM)

The robot uses 2 sets of intakes to intake the balls. These efficent mechanisms feed match-loads and preloads into the Flywheels. The first stage intake is powered by a high-speed motor with external gearing of 1:3. The second intake uses a turbo motor. (First Stage: Top speed of 480 RPM, Second stage: Top speed of 160 RPM)
